Bali’s Cultural and Nature-Based Adventure Activities
This initiative aims to introduce the salak plantation, its cultivation process, and the many benefits of salak fruit, while supporting the long-term sustainability of the plants and the salak plantation ecosystem in Sibetan Tourism Village. The program is presented as an attractive and engaging tourism package that empowers local communities to take an active role in tourism development and to become local actors who uphold the village’s cultural values and traditions.
It is further strengthened by social and environmental initiatives such as “GunGGunG Care” and “Green Adopt and Donate”, reflecting our commitment to community well-being and nature conservation.
GunGGunG Adventure offers culture-rich and nature-based adventure experiences built on a community-tourism concept in the eastern part of Bali. Located in the largest salak plantation area of Sibetan Village, Bebandem, Karangasem, the initiative is operated by local communities and highlights the region’s natural beauty and cultural uniqueness.
A wide range of exciting experiences is available, including classic 4WD adventures, mountain biking, trekking, natural campfire camping, cooking classes, nature-education trips, and authentic stays at local guest houses.
